Creative Coloring with Erum: Easy Watercolor Card

Hi friends! Erum here with a floral, watercolor card featuring the Forever in Love Stamp Set and the Mega Hope Die.

To start, I stamped the image from the Forever in Love Stamp Set onto watercolor cardstock by Daler Rowney with Obsidian Pigment Ink. Next, I colored the image using Cosmic Berry, Purple Wine, and Lava Rock watercolors from the Watercolor 36 Pan Set.

Once this was dry, I added black paint splatters. Next, I die cut the Mega Hope Die a few times in black cardstock and once in Spicy Yogurt Cardstock. I glued all the black layers together then adhered them as an offset to the Spicy Yogurt layer. I glued this down directly over my colored image. In order to make sense of the greeting, I also stamped an accompanying sentiment “you love this” from the Mega Greetings 4 Stamp Set and tucked it slightly under the “hope” die-cut.

To finish off, I added a few metallic sequins and mounted the card on a matching card base.
