Video: Two Cards using the Happy Bloom Stamp Set
Hello! Erum here today and I have two cards to share with you using the beautiful Happy Bloom Stamp Set. First, you must have seen that I have already covered the Happy Bloom Stamp in a Stamp Focus post where I shared FOUR cards. But I wanted to try something different this time.
As you can see, I used the bouquet stamp from this set as a border. Like I did in one of my stamp focus cards. But this time, in full color.
In case you don't want to watch the video, I will explain what I did in detail. For the vertical card, I just stamped the bouquet and it covered the whole area. I then colored the image with Artist Markers in the following colors:
- Blue: Sea Glass, Ocean Waves, Dusk and Desert Night
- Green: Frayed Leaf, Forest Glades and Evergreen
- Yellows: Buttercream, Warm Sunshine and Caramel Toffee
- Pinks: Blush, Coral Berry and Cotton Candy
- Greys: Morning Frost and Evening Grey
Next, I planned to add a few more elements to my border so I decided to go with a horizontal layout that would give me more area to play on.
I prepared a mask of the blue flower and placed it before stamping the bouquet on the right. Then, I added the fern type leaves to give the left corner a finished look.
After I was done stamping, I removed the mask and filled in the missing stamping with a black pen and then colored my border.
On both my cards, I added a shadow with Evening Grey Artist Marker which I then softened with Morning Frost Artist Marker. When I was done with the coloring, I stamped the sentiments from Story of Us Stamp Set on both the panels then popped them on their respective bases.
I hope you like my card set. I absolutely LOVE this stamp set and, of course, coloring with Artist Markers is a breeze! Until next time! Have an absolutely fantastic day!
I will leave you with a video of the card making process.
